Life and releases
Marshall Bruce Mathers III was born in St. Joseph, Missouri. Shortly after his birth, his father abandoned his family. Until he was twelve, Marshall Mathers and his mother often moved between St. Joseph and Warren, Michigan, a Detroit suburb.
